Once again I am here on tumblr contemplating the world. The past few days I have been preparing for Christmas shows and playing some and it has been great fun.

But this post is about books and music I have been listening to recently. In the music department I must make special mention of Stephen Sondheim particularly The Frogs and Evening Primrose which I bought off iTunes and which is lovely.

Reading? Lots as always:

  • Colditz: A Definitive History by Henry Chancellor — very interesting mostly about how they tried to escape out of the castle during WWII.
  • Sylvia by Bryce courtney — an interesting historical novel.
  • A Guide for Spiritual Healers by Caroline Myss — interesting stuff there.
  • The Best of Doreen Virtue — a collection of her recorded workshops including messages from the angels and past life regression with the angels.
